Finally picked up our 23b on Sat

After almost 2 months of waiting we went for our PDI on the 28th hooked up and took our 2011 slightly used 23b to its storage spot. Coming from a basic 8ft tent trailer this is a huge change for us and long time coming I might add. We spent about an hour in a shopping mall parking lot, setting the brake system and just getting use to towing the trailer. I am amazed how well my colorado did. I spent months searching and reading making sure everything was in order (still plan on upgrading the TV next year). We spent 3 hours sat at the storage spot just going thru everything that the salesman told us at the PDI. And then again Sunday afternoon we went back this time unpacking our dishes etc. and we opened up the tent ends. I was a little disappointed when I discovered the pin size holes in the tent end roof exactly under the bar (reason we did not notice it before). I searched on this forum and found a thread about how to fix this. Big thank you to the poster on that one. I am also considering buying the gizmos to cover for added protection. Other then that everything is perfect, we chose this slightly used 23b because it had hardly been used at all and still had stickers in the sink and shower. We can't wait now for the May long weekend (may 18) for our first camping trip of the year. We are camping with friends that have owned a travel trailer for a few years now so its perfect they can answer any questions we may have!

I too have an x23b, I love the camper but I have had my share of problems with it, keep an eye on the locking handles for the bed ends. The pin in the joint on the handles tends to stip out causing a bad seal, which leads to water damage, luckily mine was purchased new and was still under the 2 year warranty, Jayco really stands by their product!!!! Also I would not use the table as a bed platform as mine broke the first time we tried to do so, I made a platform out of cabinet grade plywood and stained it to match I will post photos in the mods section, just some tips, you will love the camper!!!!

Jayco1101 thanks for the tip I will watch out for that. Have you had any problems with pin holes or holes in the tent roof under the shepherds pole.
