First 2 night Trip in the new 16XRB

Well, the first 2 night trip in the 16XRB was a good one overall with only a few issues.

- At some point during the drive to the campground, a rock managed to hit the valve for draining the fresh water tank and broke it off, i wasn't sure if our site had water or not (Luckily it did) and we avoided running to a town to load up.

- I had a tough time getting the water heater to correctly run, it seems there is a slight crimp in the line for the pilot, and lighting it took much longer then it should have. It also went out at one point.

- My tanks didn't dump correctly, i am not sure why yet, but i have since added a bunch of water and some more chemical to break down whatever the issue may be, i will be taking the trailer to a dump station this weekend to give it annother go.

Otherwise it was a successful camping trip. It was our first time pulling the trailer with the jeep, and it did excellent. The drive was approx 100km, we got 15mpg on the way there (tail wind) and 10 on the way back (30km /hr headwind). Big gusts were no problem and i got a couple compliments on the condition of the ol jeep. This was the first camping trip in the trailer that no one got sick, and we ended up with a large portion of the campground to ourselves.

lol, yes it got a bit cooler at night before the storms rolled in. Just rain on Friday night, and then a nice thunderstorm with a lot of rain and a little hail of Saturday night.

Glad you had a good.trip overall.

A.friend had his FW valve break off do to a rock. The water at that CG all came from a hand pump.

As for the black tank not draining well, sounds lIke there was not enought fuilds in the tank. When your ready to dump fill the Black tank 3/4 full (or more), before dumping. After dumping add a few gallons of water to the tank with your chemicals. When you flush, make sure to add plenty of water. As you might have noticed lots of water is the key
