First time TT owner - x17z

We took it out the first weekend we had it. other than rookie isssues (getting the hitch on the ball correctly with the WDS, backing up) Things went well.

I got the license plate in the mail, I went to remove the temp sticker, but I don't see holes to screw the plate into. Never having a TT before, do I just screw into the side of the TT to attach the license plate?

Thanks

There should be a license plate holder under one of the tail lamps. Looks like a couple of plastic tabs, unless they're broken off.

Welcome to the forum!
On our 2014 17z, the tag bolts are attached so that the head is against the TT and the nut is on the outside. I replaced the plastic ones with metal.

Where is the temp plate attached? I'd suggest not screwing the plate to the wall (source of a leak). Are you the first owner or is it pre-owned?
