Front Jacks

Our hybrid has rear jacks no front jacks. The trailer moves all the time. I just orders two jacks to put up front. Has anyone added front jacks? If so did it help?

anything you can do to support the front end helps. We made front jacks for our 195 as it only had rear stabilizers.

There have been several threads on this as this mod is very common.

Which htt, do you have?

It will help, but that alone, will not take all the wiggle out.

If your using the tongue jack wheel, toss it. Put a block of wood under the post.

Use a few layers of cribbing under the stabilizers. The further they are extended, the less stable they are.

With only rear stabilizers, I suspect you have a single axle htt. This does make stabilizing more challenging.

I put the plastic RV blocks under the jacks in the back. They are not HD. My Ex sport 170 is lacking in jack support. We will never stabilize the trailer but anything would be a help. If we didn't like this trailer so much we would trade it in. For a 2007 jayco made a good trailer.
