Help! Pop out pulling away from frame

We recently purchased a 2010 feather hybrid and have only used it 3 times so far. The last time (a couple weeks ago) while camping we had a bad storm, the front pop out began leaking, real bad. It appears that the pop out has pulled away from the frame. We're not exactly sure where the leak is coming from, but have only guess'.

Any suggestions on how we can maybe fix the pop out?
Thanks

When we first got ours, i remember reading a recommendation to add washers to all the screws to help prevent stuff like this. So I did that ASAP.

Looks like a screw is missing? Perhaps adding washers to all the existing screws will help.

Also check the adjustment on the Shepherds pole ( White bar) as it might be to tight and contributing to the pull out. What model do you have

Mine did that! I added stainless steel screws and washers. Never had a problem after that.

2010 19h

I have a 2010 as well. 19H. I had the upper corner on the front bunk open up about to a 6 in gap. Upon close inspection I noticed that the nylon ring/clip, whatever its called, had split in half. Put a close eye on yours to see if perhaps this may be what is happening to you. I too added a few screws, watch out for the canvas, and its holding "kinda, sorta, OK"

I have no clue if the attachment ring is a separate part you can buy or if its part of the canvas which would be a much bigger issue.

Good Luck

Most of us have had to deal with this problem one way or another. I also added a few extra screws & washers in the corners and along the top. I added another dimension to it by adding Duct tape along the the complete upper edge. I have no water or air entering now as that solved the problem. When the canvas is up you don’t even notice it.
