Holes Where Canvas Connects to Camper

Hi Forum!

Has anyone had any problems with bugs getting in the space where the canvas connects to the fold out bed? There is velcro at the corners, but there are spaces where bugs are finding their way in. It's miller moth season in Colorado, and we were swatting these things every night of our trip last weekend.

Thanks!
Leann

Don't know about how to fix the holes, other than to suggest undoing and redoing the canvas, trying to fit it better.

But, I can wholeheartedly recommend burning a small citronella candle inside when the windows are open.

The screens on my old trailer let mosquitos and black flies through easily. Plus every time the door was opened. We found a small oil lamp at an antique shop and run tiki-torch fuel in it on a very low flame.

We even use the citronella lamp in the new trailer because the door is much larger.

We have very few problems with this. I actually think most of them come in through the door. We did have a problem with Japanese Beetles in one place we used to go a lot. They will find the smallest openings and get in no matter what you do.
