How low can you go?

Bought a 2011 x19h few months ago and heading to Key West tomorrow. Planning to stop for 3 nights in north Georgia for some fly fishing and the forecast is now calling for 2 of those nights to be 28 and 27 degrees. Any insights would be appreciated. Will have power but not sewer so I can't leave the black/grey water valves open. Not concerned about interior water systems but can those dump valves and pipes handle a night of 27 degrees without solid freezing and cracking?

I have camped several times without sewer hookup at those temps and lower without issues.

We've camped in the spring and fall and had temps in the low to mid 20's before and had snow during the day. Never had any issues.
If your tanks are empty and wanted some cheap insurance, you could dump some pink pop down the drains and toilet going into your tanks. This way the pop will sit at the valves and prevent freezing.

Us too. As to the black tank, decomposition generates some heat as well.

Agreed with all of the replies - especially dumping some AF down there if you wish. My handles have frozen up a few times, no cracking no leaks. But I try to avoid having them freeze.

We have the big cousin to your TT. We camp in the low to mid 20's every year. This fall the temp hit about 20 degrees. No issues.

We fill the FW tank full. We do nothing special for the waste tanks. Do nothing for the low point drains or the waste drains.

The tanks are large, and the water has a large thermal mass, so it takes a while to cool off enough to freeze. When water freezes, it freezes from the top down (just like a water puddle).

Keep your city water hose disconnected at night, as it will freeze first.

When in storage, how much water is recommended when adding the RV antifreeze to the tanks, to protect against tank cracking and dump valve seal damage?

So long as daytime temps are freezing or above you'll be just fine. It would take a day, many hours of below freezing temps to be a problem.

For storage I would winterize my camper and add a bit of antifreeze in each sink for the p traps and add some to each storage tank and no water. Let some antifreeze stand in the toilet bowl to help the seal.
