How many miles should I go before I re grease the wheel bearings?
I was wondering how often to grease the wheel bearings?
Thoughts?

I re-pack the bearings and check/adjust the brakes every 10,000 miles or every two years, which ever comes first.

It will pay you to follow Rustic Eagle's advice! I don't do it myself anymore but plan to have mine adjusted on the 2nd anniv. of the new brake assemblies.
Also, be cautious about pumping grease into EZ lube axles. You can ruin your brakes very easily. Much better to have them checked and re-packed manually.

I just repacked ours, it has been in service about a year and a half, with about 12,000 miles on it.
Did first repack and brake inspection, found a grease seal leaking grease on the brakes on one wheel, found a brake self adjuster spring broken on another wheel and found a leaf spring bushing missing.
I am a believer in the 2 year hand pack bearings and inspect brakes rule too !!

Just got a call from a buddy who is broke down in Lusk, Wyoming. Yep, a Nev-R-Lube bearing.

I don't know anyone who repacks wheel bearings in modern cars. My wife's car is over 120K and never been pulled. However, the rv is another story.

norty1-- Not to be confratational but as an fyi whats the difference between the bearings in your tv and your tt, same gease, same manufacture etc etc. I would like to know. Tx Larry

I change the grease im my bearing on my truck every so often. I will say that the smaller tires on the trailer so have to complete more revolutions to go the same distance my big truck tires go, so I think they need new grease more often.

No offense taken. I just have never had any problems with my cars or trucks, bearing wise. However I have had bearing problems on trailers. I suspect it has to do with the load they are carrying. Most trailers are close to the max weight. This is just my opinion based on personal experience.
