How to turn off Sunforce Solar Charge Controller?

We live in northern BC so we decided it may be prudent to winterize our new to us 2015 Jay Feather x17z sooner than later. In the process, we removed the 2 golf cart batteries. Our trailer has a Sunforce 12 volt 30 amp solar charge controller with a couple of solar panels on the roof. When we disconnected the 2 golf cart batteries, the solar charge controller began to display 2 red lights and the bottom one was flashing (see attached photo). I looked for a way to shut off the Sunforce controller, but there didn't seem to be one.

Can anyone advise me what I should do? Maybe it isn't a problem if it flashes all winter (meaning from now until the end of May, up here in the north). What do others do? Thanks for any advice!

Pull one of the wires from the panels? Then flag it so you remember. I wouldn't and then I would say, why ain't this workin??
