I installed a shower curtain rod across the back of the bathroom and we hang towels and swim suits from hangars over the shower area. Works pretty good.
Could you post some pictures? Did you use a spring loaded or did you actually attached it with screws? My summer project is to put a closet rod in and put hanging shelves on it for more storage.
