Installing an Extend A Shower rod

The shower in our X17Z is pretty small so I'm thinking of putting in an Extend A Shower rod. y7aHi6rBHUEF2oFaOwt2PnxluxCiwc9qwaazvTyqBN1CiHibpR nDhoCN9AQAvD_BwE

Are there studs behind the walls? The rod is about 3 lbs and I don't want to pull the screws out of the wall.

Has anyone any experience with this rod or even attaching items of some weight to the walls?

There are studs there. Use a stud finder. I may, or may not, have found them when I installed a new shower curtain. But the brackets are holding. I used thin wall flexible PVC and PVC Ts with the back half cut off for the brackets. Show you a pic if wanted.
