Jacks winter storage

Stabilizers up or down for winter storage? Also, do you rest the tires on anything such as plywood or just the bare ground? Thanks!

I leave the stabilizers up. Usually park both axles on a 2x10.

Stabilizers wither way depending on if I'll be in/out a lot doing projects.
I try, but usually fail, to put tires on something to keep them out of the grass/dirt. But I do cover them to keep the UV light off them.

Stabilizers up incase you get a flat they will not be able to support the weight and get damaged.

Plus the possibility of the frame twisting some if there is a flat tire is another reason I leave the jacks up!!!

I have a rubber pad (12”x16” or so....) cut from a 3/4” thick horse stall mat that the tires sit on all year when stored. Driveway that it sits in has the larger river rock during the spring- fall, then close to Thanksgiving it’s off to the local county fair grounds to be stored inside one of the barns, with the rubber pads again under the tires.
