Jay Feather 23B canvas question

Hello,

We are in the process of buying a Jayco Jay Feather 23B trailer. During our own inspection, we noticed that the tent ends seem to have an issue with cracks in the plastic mounting surfaces.

Can this be repaired?

Thanks in advance!
Phil

Those are some major cracks!! My '06 has some very small splits in a few places but nothing like that. I think my canvas has a lip that fits into a groove in the molding then is fixed with the screws. If that was the case, maybe it just needs to be re-set into the groove.

Thanks. I would appreciate any pictures of what a "normal" attach point looks like.
