Jay Feather Ultra Lite X23J

I'm trying to find out why X23J are valued so much more than any of the X23 floorplans.

I'm considering a 2015 X23B ($12K) and a 2012 X23J ($15K) unit. They are listed for exactly what NADA values them at.

But I don't get what the big difference is. The only real difference I find is in cargo capacity. X23J has 2300 lbs cargo capacity; the X23B has 1100 lbs

But is there anything else? The rest of the specs between the two look identical.

Is the X23J really worth that much more than an X23B? If so, why?

Wonder if it is because there are no yent ends? Tents can wear out, also there is a known issue will all the tent ends pulling away in the upper corners.

Just a thought

What do you mean “there’s no tent ends?” X23J are also hybrids... just like the X23B, so just like all hybrids, theres a tent on both ends of the trailer.

Is that what you mean by tent ends?

Sorry, I was thinking of the X213, which does not have tent ends. It has the rear slide out bunk in the rear.

I looked at the x23j in 2013 when I was looking for a hybrid but it lacked drawers in the kitchen and I wanted a super slide too so I purchased the exp21m for $15k. At that price I over paid about 1500 more than going price in 2013 but it’s exactly what I wanted.
Happy to this day and worth every penny.

Slide is 3’x11’ as I’m a little claustrophobic so that extra floor space makes it very comfortable on those rainy days.
