LED Awning lights

My LED Awning light strip appears to be coming un-glued. Its kinda twisting here and there. Anyone had this happen? I think it's just held with adhesive? Thoughts?

Try some Gorilla glue.

Fastcap makes a double sided tape that's extremely strong. We use it occasionally in the woodworking industry.

Mine looks that way too. Take a better look at it though. It's not coming unglued. The track that the LED strip in is actually flexible and only attached to the awning along one edge of the strip. From opening and closing, and temp fluctuations, the strip is starting to deform a bit. At least that's how mine is, I thought the same thing that it was coming apart, but it's not.

That being said, it does make it look like crap in my opinion....

I cannot see how these can last, considering the awning is always soaking wet when unfurled. I had a set of the ''waterproof'' ones from Amazon, thought they were great the first few outings but they did not hold up. At first a few lights gave out, then the whole unit died. A freind bought a set as well after me and his were in the trash after one season. Hopefully Jayco uses better ones then that but I still can`t see them lasting when bathed in water.

Thanks for the replies. Didn't realize it was in a track. I'll take a better look. It's under warranty but was hoping for a quick fix so it's not sitting at the dealer for weeks or months.

I replaced mine with a color changing strip (Had to do it for the DW). My original white lights were way too bright and dimming LED's can be a bit problematic. Mine were not attached to the plastic channel / track at all. Once I disconnected power and gained access to the end of the track I was able to pull the entire strip out in one shot.
