Thanks everyone for the information, the pdi went smooth. Tons of info, but took in what I could. I was nervous about driving home, and especially backing up. Both went well, backing up took me several tries, but not as bad as I thought. I did not realize that wdh's make so much noise! A couple of early turns I was sure I hit something. Finally figured out it was just the hitch making noise around the corner. First lesson learned.

Congratulations!

I've been towing trailers for nearly 25 years and it's not unusual for me to have to make several tries backing up. It helps a lot to have a spotter back there.

Congrats! You'll get use to the operations on your RV. Leaf Springs make more noise than the WDH with Sway Control.

Don't worry about multiple attempts at backing your unit. Sometimes I nail it the first try, sometimes I have to start over once or twice or make tons of maneuvers; all on the same spot. And I've backed trailers of varying types and sizes since I started driving 23 years ago.

Just take your time and have fun!

I use grease on the ball and spring bars where they slide into the ball mount.
That will make it a lot quieter.
