Making Beds In A Hybrid

We loved our x17z for the 1.5 years we had it before selling it because it was too small. When making the beds we would have to climb into the bunks in order to tuck the bedding under the mattress. We recently saw someone in a hybrid from a different manufacturer making the bed from outside the camper. The bunk end material detached from the bottom of the bunk ends so he was able to make the bed from outside. We then pulled the material tight in order to finish the setup.

Was this an option with out x17z or was the material permanently attached to the bunk ends?

The tents are attached, we just open the end window and screen, then you can get to the beds from outside.

It depends on the model year of the trailer. Our '06 bunk ends tents are not permanently attached to the "shelf" but on later model years they are.

We have a 03 Kiwi and our bunk ends snap to the platform so it is easy to make the bed before we snap it closed.

Yep, we just open the emergency exit window. I stand outside helping, and the DW is inside doing most of the work.
