Water test complete. Zero signs of any leakage at all. Thanks for the tip @Jagiven

Note that there is also a thread in this forum on Froli or Camco bed systems. That could solve your problem, too.

If the Dry-Den makes folding the bunk ends in too much of a pain, maybe we can roll them up and store them there.
I've gone through these mods over and over - do you have a link to the piano hinge you used? Love the way you did yours, would like to copy and want to make sure I grab the right one. Just got our x17z picked up yesterday! Whoo hoo!

Sorry, I thought I linked to it before.

Piano Hinge:

1/2" Stainless Screws (comes with 3/4", but they would poke through the top board):

Fantastic advice

Thank you Digital Fusion for your pictures and great advice. We just got started with a X17Z and found the mattresses lacking. We'll look at this for next season. And I loved the idea about the piano hinge!

Thank you again and safe travels!

Thanks for the kudos. That's what this place is all about though, helping other fellow campers!

Hope it helps, and happy camping!

Cheers,

I was just wondering, has anyone tried a mattress from this place out?
4 or 5 inch, Levi or Grayson?
It sounded really attractive; 60"x76" comes out between $430 and $555, depending on thickness and grade.
