Microwave on 17Z

My wife is finding that the microwave is too high on the 17Z, she is 5' 4" and has a hard time reaching and recovering? Has anyone experienced this and any solutions?

John

My wife is slightly shorter and has not complained about the microwave. Now cupboards above the sofa is another story.

Just need a small collapsible stool inside.

I guy I used to work with used to do certain parts of his job poorly. I believe it was done on purpose so that he wasn't asked to do things again. Lol

We have a small folding step stool. It's made of plastic and gives you another few inches in height. My 17z microwave does seem to be a tad higher then my home microwave though.

We're both short.. I'm 5ft 4, wife is 5ft 2 and the microwave and cupboards are high for us... but we use a small step stool as well. My pet peeve with the microwave is that the glass plate slips off the guides much to easily.

We agree with the fact that the microwave plate is hard to keep in place on the turntable cog. Pain in the butt. Other than that the microwave is excellent.

I am 5'5" and can reach the microwave ok. I do use a small step stool to get into the front bunk. It is higher than the rear bunk.

I'm 5'3" and don't have a problem with the microwave. The cabinets over the sofa, give me some problems. As does getting in the back bed.

I'm 5'4" and have a plastic step stool. Use it for lots of things and works as an extra chair for kids.
