Molding Problem

Is there any way to cleanly repair this molding that came lose from above my door?

If that valance goes pretty flat to the wall try some marine grade velcro, its very strong stuff.

Trim nail gun or crown stapler is how it was attached from the factory in all likelihood

Assuming you do not own a nail gun or stapler I suggest you get some 18 gauge brads (nails) and use them to tack the door trim to the piece of molding next to the door. Brads come in different lengths so try 3/4 or 1 inch brads. Since they are so small I use a needle nose plyers to hold the brad while I drive it with a hammer. Once in place you will not see the brads.

two faced carpet tape might work as well...heck even hotglue

+1 but we have switched to Gorilla Construction adhesive since ours is often stored in the AZ summer heat.
Two years later and no molding or anything else has moved again. And we tried many adhesives.

Would Liquid Nails be the same as Gorilla Construction adhesive? I have Liquid Nails!
