Need a new Safety Chain

Hey all, so we lost the end to part of our old safety chain and stupid me i threw it away without measuring it. I ordered what i thought would be a good replacement, which is a 4' safety chain, only to find that its too dang short! Everywhere i look they only sell 4' chains. Has anyone had to get a new one and have a source for a longer one?

Thanks,
Shay

When I need chain, I usually buy it at home depot, cut to the exact length I need. Just make sure it's rated appropriately.

Chain - Chain & Rope - The Home Depot
