We finally took the plunge and bought our first trailer:applause: It's still at the now-previous owners' home; we hope to get it to our house this weekend.
No pics yet...I'm pretty tech-challenged...it's in mint condition inside and seems very sturdy. The previous owners bought it used from a dealership and the trailer still has it's original owners' manual on everything!
We're also getting the towing equipment on the tv upgraded to haul our baby, at least for the first year or so and pretty much within 100 miles...no mountains til we get something with more umph.
Yes we're excited and scared...this is pretty new to us though we did have (well still do...but it's not pretty and it's rotting in the back yard) a slide-in camper that we used very little. And I grew up camping; Dad designed and built part of our version of a pop up back in the 60's (Sears sewed the tent). But that was HIS towing adventure; all of us helped set up camp and break camp. And this will be so different from Civil War reenacting camping
