New Tow Truck

Okay so I went from a 2003 Ford Expedition to a 2016 F150 Lariet.....Where I go to get the hitch to the right height for the new truck? I would feel safer to get a technical opinion on this. I also will have to get a trailer brake installed...

What kind of hitch? Are you looking for diy instructions or a reliable shop to do the work (spoiler alert: there are no reliable shops)?

If you still have your old TV measure the height of the receiver from the ground (level ground) and compare that to the same measurement on the new TV. If the new TV is higher, lower the hitch by that amount. That’ll get you in the ballpark. At the end of the day the TT should pretty much level when hitched and spring bars are engaged.

Without knowing what kind of hitch I can only guess. Here is a generic video showing how the E2 series hitches are installed. Your hitch may be similar.

The concept being to level your trailer, level your truck, measure heights of trailer hitch ball socket then install the hitch on the truck at the proper ball height.
