Newbie question x17z vs. 16xrb

Hello new friends! I'm making a purchase soon and have the choice down to a 2018 16xrb and a 2016 x17z. Would anyone recommend one over the other? Same dealership, the 16xrb is about $3,000 more. I have a family of 4 with two small kids and this will be our first RV. Towing is not an issue because I'll be pulling it with a Tundra. Thanks so much for your input!

I own a 2014 X17Z and I found the couch much more comfortable than the 16xrb but wish I didn't have the oven just the cook top.

You don't waste time, do you! Congrats on the purchase. We have a 2013 x17z that we purchased two years ago and we absolutely love it.

Very strange... We own a 16XRB. It looks identical to the one in the picture above your post. What I find weird is you have a small window to the left of the door, which isn't present in the image (above you post) and the one we own. ALSO, what I find even stranger is you have a smaller awning and they mounted the support right over the window... It should go all the way to the other side of the window between the front corner and the window.

I just find it extremely odd they would go right over the window...

I just picked up a '16 x17z. I agree on the oven. It is coming out. Don’t need the weight and can use the space. Just not show to fill the space. When I looked at pulling it out I noticed that the screws holding mine in were already out -meaning the oven was just sitting there unsecured - glad I looked.

Welcome to the forum.

Lots of folks say they don't like the oven. We bake with ours semi-frequently. We also use it for storing some pots and pans, though the manual says not to.

Enjoy, we loved our X17Z for six years. We just recently upgraded to the X23E and I am sure we will love the new one just as much. Jayco makes great hybrids!!
