No 12v Cigarette Plug?

I don’t see a 12v cigarette plug in this camper. How come? My girlfriend uses a CPAP, which has a 12v accessory male adapter. We often camp where’s there’s no shore power, and use a solar panel to charge the batt. I’m sure someone has put one of these in their rig. I need one near each bunk. Any tips? Where to tap power etc.

CPAP machines are power hogs. I would suggest a direct to the battery ( with fuse, of course) power wire of adequate size to carry the load. One battery may not carry 2 of them overnight. Avoid the water heater if possible to reduce the load. While I was at it, I would wire a dedicated ground.

Most wiring for lights is very small diameter and will not carry the load for your CPAP.

Thanks for your reply. Before I got my 16Xrb, we camped in a coachman pop-up on battery/ solar power only. The coachman had two cigarettes plugs at each bunk to plug the CPAP into. The CPAP only draws about 5A. We had no issues during a 10 day stay on assateague Island, with draining our battery thanks to the solar panels I would want to tap into at least a 16-18 gauge source to wire the plug though.

I have a 23B, I added a number of 12v outlets. I snooped around, figured out were all the existing utilities ran, and pulled new wire for my outlets. I pulled my fuse box and used a 12v terminal that was not used in my tt. Only hard part in my htt, was getting the new wire around the shower. That one spot took about an hour. The rest was quick.

I think I added 5 outlets in total.

OP stated there is only one c-pap machine (girlfriends). He just wants to install 2 plugs. He asked how to run the wires so I have to assume he want's to go to the 12 fuse panel where it should go. No need to go directly to the battery. A dedicated ground from where to where and why? Why would he go to the WH? That circuit is only a small 12 volt control circuit shared by the Furnace, Refrigerator, and WH. The lighting circuits are 14 ga copper on a 15 amp fuse. More that enough for a C-pap machine, specialty since it will be the only load on the circuit while they a sleeping

I added one of these panels on both ends of my off-road POPUP trailer. These are available from AMAZON and has several different models... These can be mounted vertical or horizontal... The round modules rotate...

If you select the panel that has a DC VOLTMETER meter be sure to get one with a ON-OFF switch. The DC VOLTMETER on mine is very bright..

Check the ceiling, above the fridge.

If yours is like ours, the space on top of the fridge is intended for a TV, so there will be a 110V outlet, a TV cable patch and a 12v outlet.

I have the TV, so I’ll have to look.
FYI- I just bought this 2018 XRB last week after weeks of looking at them for sale. We searched & searched, but most where older, beat, up, or were already sold, when we found one. BTW— RV Trader is never current with their listings.
I live in MA, and found this beauty in SC. I traveled down, inspected it and bought it on the spot. I still have to tow it back but this hurricane is causing difficulty. Can’t wait to get it home.
