No Drawers

I'm just settling into my new used camper and I noticed there aren't any drawers only closets. I do have a nice pantry closet and was wondering if anyone installed any shelving that slides on something like rollers in their closets for things like silverware and other kitchen utensils.

Oh yes. One of the few things we didn't like about our X20E was the lack of drawers. As you already noticed there is ample space in the pantry. Trouble is there is nothing ready made that fits well or isn't inconvenient. We tried small storage tubs and other ideas none of which worked well.

I am not a carpenter but I put in my own drawers anyway.

We have an X17Z and the lack of storage is one of the biggest problems. There's enough cabinet space, but no drawers for things like silverware and other small things. I added drawers under the dinette table, and it may be the best addition I've made thus far to my camper.

And that's why I bought a hardly used Hybrid only 21' long because to me the kitchen had to work just like home. My counter space is 7' long now and I removed the oven/stove top and dropped the micro in its place with a cutting board top. To cook with we use 1 or 2 butane burners or use them outside or take 1 to the beach.

Wow! They all look nice. I guess I'm not the only one that likes drawers. I definitely have to do something, I'm not big on tubs.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention what I was going to do originally.

Pull out my oven and just buy the propane cook top that you can buy at most RV Stores and build or buy 2 drawers to give you room for your kitchen utensils.

For us the butane was a better choice.

My apology,
Tunce

I added shelves to one of our two closets.

We had plenty of drawers in the kitchen area, but I did add a drawer in one of the wardrobes in the Bedroom, along with shelves. I don't need hanging space. Added one drawer in the bottom of DW wardrobe, still left plenty of room for her hanging clothes.
