I successfully wired this dimmer on my 2015 Jayco X23B today! Very simple as it's been stated. The most time consuming piece was the prep and planning on where and how the final placement of the dimmer ends up and looks. I had to put mine up along the track like DustyGeek. What I did that worked very well was completely heat shrink wrap the entire configuration from the tip of the LED light strip all the way to the point where the wires enter the cabin of the camper. It took a variety of 3/8" to 3/4" tubing and overlapping them. I used black and tested that the remote still worked before completing the work...I thought I may need to use clear, but that was not the case. I can't add any pictures that are different than those already added. Thank you again to all those that have contributed! My goal was to simply add a separate step light, but this method allowed me to do that without adding a new light and switch AND the ability to dim that 'way to bright' LED strip!
Oh, I want to add that the dimmer can only be installed one way. I found that after the first time I connected the wires for a test that the light worked, but the dimming functionality did not. I disconnected and rewired after flipping end for end and it worked. I actually ordered two of these (one for a friend) and tested the other one and it did the same exact thing. Just something to look out for!
