Picture window

I'm having a problem with the bottom awning portion of the picture window flying open while towing in strong winds. 2008 19H Jay Feather Ultra lite. Possible solution?

Can you show us a picture of the window you're talking about?

Think you might need a new crank, sounds like the gears are stripped.

Window

Its the big window (on the left side of our trailer). One beside the table. I could take a picture of it but it's dark here now. The window seems to crank in and out fine but suction from the wind seems to suck it open when you are traveling down the road. I've taped it shut with duck tape at present.

Hi there: our 19H had the same problem in high winds ,ended up being the crank unit was faulty, fixed it myself rather than going to dealer. that was the smaller crankout portion of the big picture window. we also found the entire picture window had a habit of opening as well. as you are well aware that window is a means of escape in an emergency and with the window coverings, aka blinds being tight quarters between the table and glass the window locks were opening while lifting the blinds up, something else to watch for sure.

Happy Travels

Thanks I'll have a closer look at the small crank.
