Power Cord

Has anyone ever replaced the power cord end? I was told that mine will need replaced soon as it looks kinda burnt. I was also told not to run the A/C and water heater together. I was told to run the water heater on propane.
Thanks!

Not very hard to do just take your time and make sure everything is neat and tight.

Here is a post on power cord maintenance.

The A/C and electric water heater together is a pretty good load.

If you were to put one of these in you can keep up with how much power you are using (it has a remote display). Also you would be protected from any power problems.

Probably as a result of a loose receptacle on the power post vs running wh and ac together. We used to run them together all the time with out issue. Loose 30amp receptacles are becoming quite common place do to excessive use.
