Privacy Curtain Tabs

I'm looking to replace my very cheap privacy curtains that came with my 2014 X23B. There are 3 total curtains, two for the front bed and one that goes across the back bed. They are already falling apart, hem has come out...and frankly they're ugly. The curtains have tabs, that are sewn into them, to allow them to slide into the track and hang vertically. I'd prefer not to have to replace the track that they slide into, but rather just find some new tabs that can be sewn to some new curtains. My wife has found some shower curtain designs that she wants to use as replacement curtains, but I'm looking to find these replacement tabs, that slide into the track, so that she can sew them in. Here is a picture of the tabs. If you know where I can get these, I would appreciate a reply. I've scoured the forum, but only find links to new track and tabs that don't resemble mine. Thanks in advance for any help.

May be a dumb question, but once they have been used, they can't be re-used? Too many holes for the sewing machine needle to "bite" into?

Actually, they can be used again. They must use an industrial type needle at Jayco to stitch these tabs into the curtains. I'm mostly nervous that the original ones will become brittle and crack when we try to sew them into the new curtains.

I'd agree, and for the price of 100 count that one link provided above, it would be worth it to just replace them.

My wife dislikes the goldish color of our draw curtains; I'm betting that if I show her we can get these tabs, she'll be picking out some new material real soon.

Yes, the goldfish color is drab. The DW found some bright shower curtains that will look a lot better. She bought 3 shower curtains, 2 for the front and one for the rear bed. They'll need to be hemmed and have the tabs sewn in as well.

Somebody actually uses those curtains. Ok my kid uses the back bunk curtain. This fall, I removed the curtains for the front bunk. I think we only closed them once since 2012. Good luck

Hahaha...yeah we really only use the back one so our youngest can get to sleep before the rest of us. The front ones are decorative an for hiding the bedding clutter behind them...stuffed animals, etc.

Well, here is what I did. We were so tired of the old gold/brown curtains, that fell apart in our hands, that we bought a few nice shower curtains and sewed them to the proper length. We removed the tabs from the original curtains and then Velcro'd the tabs onto the new shower curtains. These are much nicer to look at and are way better quality. The Velcro is very strong and there are no issues. Here are a few pics. We haven't hung them yet, as it's snowy right now to get into our rig. I highly recommend doing this as a very easy decorative fix that brightens up the camper.

Here they are hanging in the camper. I hung them up to turn in the camper to the dealer as a trade in in a new GreyHawk 31Fs

Nice! Perhaps a sideline business could be started.... I see some potential customers here that would pay for this, already done and ready to hang.

It's a shame you didn't get to enjoy the mod.

Why do we always fix up things just so someone else can enjoy?

Good question norty1. The DW had her mind set on a new rig, and there was no stopping her . I'm just a soldier in this army. Ha
