Propane gril and no fire

I have a 2008 23B and it has the coupler on the right side towards the rear to plug in a line for a grill. We bought a 17 inch blackstone griddle and when i hook it up to the camper it wont hardly put out enough gas to make a flame. I have 2 full tanks, i made sure the lines and the coupler were not plugged and i can hook up a small propane take to the griddle and it works fine. The stove in the camper works fine, have not fired the furnace yet so not sure on that. I am still using the regulator that came with the griddle so im wondering if I am over regulating the gas. They offer a fiting for those griddles with out the regulator but id like to hear if someone has run into this before i spend money on one unnecessairly. Any input would be appreicated,Thanks!

The Blackstone has a regulator at the unit. The lp source you are using is already regulated so you are correct in your assumption. The regulator on the grill has to go for it to work properly with the regulated source.

It's a common modification and there are threads that explain it here on JOF.

Question, are you using the factory supplied regulator on the Blackstone griddle while connected to the TT? If so, you need to remove it. Your TT is regulating the pressure down to 1/2 psi.

Thank you for the info. With the trouble shooting and reserch ive done thats what i was leaning towards. We just purchased this TT in June so im still learning a few things about it. Thanks again!

Yes i am stil going through the regulator that came with the grill. I pulled the regulator apart thats on the camper to make sure it didnt have any obstructions anywhere also. I was also wondering what the perssure was regulated down to with the orignal one on the TT so thanks for that info too!
