Refrigerator

Does a Norcold 610 series need the 12 volt power to work when boondocking? We went camping this spring. Refrigerator did not cool down. At the storage place there is no 110 V available, So I was trying to work with propane. I could not get it to light. Do I need to have the battery hooked up?

Yes, the 12v battery is used to power the electronics that run the refrigerator.
