Registration in TV or TT

I have a silly question that I have been unable to find a definitive answer to. We just received our plate and registration for our new Hybrid and currently confused if the registration needs to stay in the TT or should it go into the tow vehicle? Or does it even matter?

Thanks!
-Jake

Never really thought about this - have always kept the registration papers for the trailers in the TV.

I keep them in the TV. If stopped for some reason they are readily available rather than having to go digging through the TT to try and find them.

Mine is taped inside the cabinet door closest to the entry door. Never happens but you could pull the rv with another tv. Think I'll make a copy and put it in the tv with the truck registration.

I do the same. I keep the registration taped to the kitchen cabinet closest to the door. Just in case it's being towed by another TV.

I keep my trailer registration in the truck glove compartment with the other papers.
The trailers not going anywhere w/o the truck.
