removing the lock for the outside shower

Hello-

I did some searching, but didn't find quite what I was looking for.

We have a 2018 19H. I want to remove the keyed lock for the outside shower so we don't need a key to open it and close it.

Is there a "cam lock without the key" that I can get as a replacement?

Thanks.

Right here or probably AMAZON or maybe one of the Big Box stores.

SOLD !!! Another great idea, especially when I need that water and my hands are dirty or the dog just rolled in something.

I tried this but with the cam lever facing up like it has to, I found my shower door opened after a few trips. The door didn't have enough pressure to keep the cam from vibrating and opening during travel.

Take the cam or lock and cam off and bend it a little.

Alternatively, put a plastic shim where the cam hits the hatch door. If you have one they make shims for toilets that are perfect. Door and window ones come in plastic composite and you could cut one down. Some glue and your done.

It really wasn't that important to me. My wife was the one who wanted it unlocked. Truthfully, I din't put any effort into making it work...LOL

I have never understood why the shower needs a lock??? But on the other hand, I have never found it enough of an issue to replace it with a simple cam with a thumb latch... maybe when I am really looking for something to do
