Replace rear furnace duct on X23b

One of my kids damaged the flexible duct that runs between the furnace and the rear of the trailer (a section under the bathroom sink was damaged beyond repair). The major problem I see is getting to the other side of the wood panel where the vent attaches to the flex duct. Any advice would be.appreciated.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Could you go to your favorite home supply yard and pick up a couple 4” joining adaptors (furnace duct section) and splice in just a small sections of duct? If it is really bad; you may need to pull the furnace out and make a new connection to it.

Thanks, Jagiven. I took your advice. The repair only cost about $30 for all materials. I tested the furnace last night for about 4 hours and everything is working great.
