Replacement Hinged Mattress Cover

Hi everyone,

I recently replaced the original Foam Rubber mattresses that came with my Jayfeather x17z. I noticed when removing the originals that the covers were torn at the hinge area. My wife would like to replace them but I am having a hard time finding replacements.

I know we could just use individual covers and then put a large fitted sheet over the two mattresses together; however, I would like to see about an actual replacement.

The cover allows two mattresses to be inserted, one from either side, and the entire set to fold in half at a sewn in hinge, of sorts.

Could not find them in the part catalog neither.

You might be best off looking for a shop locally, either an upholsterer or one that makes covers, tents, etc. They can use the original as a pattern and it might actually be cheaper than a factory replacement if you were to find one.

Also give Jayco a call directly. Though they do not sell directly to consumers, they might be able to get you a part number to order through a dealer.

Funny, my wife and I were literally just having that exact conversation about 5 minutes ago. It's certainly an option on the table but I will continue looking for an easier route for the time being.
