It's the lens over the light that's red, not the bulb. Incandescant brake bulbs are clear glass, not red.

Hey Seann, you got me curious so I went out and pulled a brake light cover. Found a clear glass, dual element 3157 bulb. Looks just like this.



I wonder if that's a CSA requirement for Canadian units?
