Unhappy Rubber top bubbles

Gang,

I have several small (quarter size) bubbles in the rubber roof of my 2011 Z17X. Is this normal or a problem that I need to have addressed. The camper is still under warranty.

I have an 2005 19H and my roof has no such issue. I use a cleaning agent on it twice a year from Dicor. They are the manufacturer of the rubber roofs for Jayco trailers. I would most definitely have it looked at since it is under warranty. Once you get it fixed, a regualr regiment of cleaning your roof keeps it from drying out and helps promote a longer life span.

Hope everything gets resolved for you.

It is normal to see some air trapped under the rubber roofing material, but just for piece of mind I would take it to your dealer and have them take a look at it. Make sure they generate a service report so that you have something to fall back on in the event the roof becomes an issue in the future.

I have a couple of small bubbles under by 26BH roof. They have never caused any trouble - I figured they were just air pockets trapped when they put on the roof. I thought about using a syringe to suck out the air, but thought that would do more harm that good.....

I am out of warranty, so would like to hear if they have ever caused anyone an issue but for now I am just leaving alone.

Thumbs up Thanks.

Thanks, gang. It sounds as if this is normal, but I am going to have it checked out in any case.
