Safety escape window sticks shut

Our Jay Feather 7 19XUD exit safety window is hinged at the top with a gasket around the window. To open the window, you unhook a lever at the bottom of the window, pull it out toward you and push the level out a small rectangular hole on the window bottom.
Sounds easy, but the window sticks to the gasket. I use a small padded pillow on the lever handle and strike it with my palm.
Can I use silicone spray or lube on the gasket to keep the window from sticking?
Any other solutions?

I had the same problem. I fixed it with some slideout seal conditioner. Sprayed some on a rag and wiped it on the window seals. Problem solved.

Baby powder works great

I put a screen over mine and use it to get extra air circulation at the campsite. I just took a large section of screen, stapled it to a strip of wood and screwed it in above the window. Left it loose on the other three sides to allow access the windows as needed.

X2 on this and also use this conditioner for all of your window seals. I wouldn’t use baby power because it doesn’t condition the seals it only keeps them from sticking.
