Shower head
Have a 2016 X23B and was surprised on our first outing to find that the shower head does not have a shut-off position. Can someone confirm that it doesn't?

The shower head on my 2016 28BHBE Didn't have a shut off either. I swapped it out with an oxygenics as the OEM one was terrible anyway...

The OEM shower heads are terrible. Buy an Oxygenics or other RV one and you'll be glad you did.

Glad to hear that I'm not crazy. Off to look for an Oxygenics.

We had the Oxygenics one in a prior trailer but bought this Camco one for the current one. I like the Camco one a little better than the other but you don't see as many people posting about it.

Ditto
Seems kinda silly, don't it?
Haven't made any changes yet. Just turn the water off and on at the faucet. (The water heater is inches from the shower)

The on/off "switch" on my outside shower head is pretty bad. It still dribbles quite a bit of water in the "off" position.
I put a Camco RV shower head (ordered from Amazon) in my inside shower. It has an on/off switch right there on the head. The flow and pattern is nice. It fits in the original shower head holder. I also replaced the hose at the same time, which I highly recommend. Probably not quite as nice as the Oxygenix (sp?), but then I paid a lot less for it too; around $15 IIRC.
ETA: Here it is on Amazon for around $11.

Do the replacement shower heads just screw onto the existing hose, or do they come with a new hose?

The new heads screw onto the existing hose. I know my Camco one didn't include a new hose but not sure about the Oxygenics one. I did also order the new Camco hose which was a huge improvement over the stock hose that doesn't like to flex much.

You can find them to order that come with a hose, but I wanted a specific head and a specific hose that did not come together, so I ordered mine separate.
Really the instigator of my shower head replacement was that one of the end fittings on the hose cracked. So I figured that I wasn't going to replace the hose and keep that crappy OEM head on there.

Same thing happened to ours which was surprising because we hadn't used it very much. Replaced it with a Camco unit with shut-off at the shower head along with a more flexible hose. The new hose has metal fittings so that shouldn't happen again.

I think all on/off switches for campers dribble. It's to make sure the water between the HW tank and you doesn't get cold while you're soaping up.
I have an Oxygenics and love it, dribble and all! That little dribble of water goes a long way toward keeping you wet while you're soaping up and uses very little water. You need the full spray only to get wet or for your final rinse cycle.
I dry camp so water is always an issue.
