Shut off valves for x119h water heater

Hello we just purchased the x119h 2014 model. Cannot seem to find the shut-off valves for the hot water heater, nor a diagram of where they might be. Your help so appreciated. Tried searching the forum but could not find a thread. Thanks.

It's on the back side of the heater.

X2

Usually you need a #2 square screw driver to access it. I left the screw out for easy access.

The back should look just like this or close to it. The bottom one is the cold line coming in and the top one is the hot going out. Now the one on the left ( center) is called the bypass shutoff valve for winterizing at end of season.
Both top & bottom valves are in the open position.

Now if your water is to hot for your family to use you can mix A little cold into the hot line by opening the bypass valve slightly to lower the temp. You'll have to play with it for about 5 minutes to get it just right for your family and I do it mainly for the kids so they have the benefit of so called hot water to wash their hands "

Specific to the X19H, your water heater is located under the bench seat for the dinette directly at the front of the unit. Lift the cushion and you will see an access panel. All 3 valves should be easily accessible in that space.

For future reference, note that you low point drains are located underneath the other bench seat for the dinette.

Your shutoff for the fresh tank and winterize valve are located in the pump cabinet to the right of the furnace beneath the wardrobe.
