skylight looks glued down with no screws

I am looking to replace my skylight on my jayfeather 17XFD because it has a crack that has not gone all the way through yet. When inspecting the skylight it looks like there are no screw holes holding the outside dome down. Am I insane. Even the lap sealent does not show screw heads like the other vents do on the roof.

If the dome is glued down how do I get it up without damaging the roof membrane?

Thanks in advance for any help

I personally have never seen Jayco glue down a roof skylight panel, but I could be wrong.

From inside your TT remove the ceiling skylight panel...., you should be able to confirm how the roof skylight panel is attached. On both my '05' and '18' Jayco TT's you could see the screws coming through from inside.

Did you remove the lap-sealant around the dome? You'll might find the screws holding it down. Before removing first get your dome light and supplies you need, the start working on it.
You can tape the crack temporarily to keep from leaking.

Out of curiosity I went up and looked at mine. There are bumps in the thick layer of sealant indicating screws.

Speaking of skylights, mine has turned GOLDEN YELLOW.

Is this normal or an early sign of failure? Our 195RB is 26 months old (yep just off warranty)

Normal discoloring because of UV. I had sky-lights for 10 years before they get brittle of UV conditions. Harsh winter conditions in Canada. You touch plastic in the winter and it is goodbye.
