Sleeping position

thinking about going to the dark side, but being 6foot 3 inches tall I am worried about the size of the bunks. I know the end bunks are narrower than a PUP. What is the size of the bunks? How do you sleep left to right or hitch to tail?

Our hybrid bunks are the same as our PUP was, queen but they seem shorter than our regular queen at home. I'm almost 6 foot and my husband is 5'6. We sleep left to right. He doesn't have any issue. I need to angle a little or curl up, if I stretch out straight I hit the end. But, I tend to sleep on my side with knees bent so it works. Never really thought about sleeping the other direction, but I know my feet would be dangling over the edge.

We had a 197 ultra lite before this TT. That was the main reason we went to a walkaround bed. In the 197 someone was getting rolled over in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The bed configuration in the 197 was side to side. So to answer your question, we sleep front to back now

I'm 6'2" and have a 23b. We sleep left to right. I have to make sure my pillow is all the way toward the "top" of the bunk before laying down otherwise my feet hit the opposite side when I sleep. It really hasn't bothered me yet but if I was a couple inches taller I could see how it might. At 6'3" you should be fine.

I'm 6'3" and have an X19H, moved to from a 1007 pup. The bunk is maybe 1" shorter, but still a good fit. I sleep in the outboard position and my feet occasionally get "hung up" on the bunk suspension cable, but I fit well enough.

I would avoid the new Jay Feather 7 models that are only 7' wide; those bunks don't work for tall people. Stick to the classic full wide models. I do find the mattress in ours to be a little thicker and more comfortable than the pup mattress; I used to bottom out on that one.

Left to right. I'm not all that tall (5'9") but the bed would not be long enough for me if I slept front to back. Yes, tall people should stick with an 8' wide model!

In our old x17z we slept right to left comfortably, and the DW and I are both 6'. We were comfortable but now that we've made it to over 60 we felt like camping couple and wanted a real bed. And with 2 dogs the slide out is nice to let us walk around too.

The mattresses in our bunks are short queens, with dimensions 60 x 75.

Our bunks are 60x76. I'm 6'4, so that was something I was concerned with when looking at TT's. When I do sleep on it, I sleep diagonally so I have enough extra length to not be right against the walls.

I'm now 6'1"down from 6'3". I have no issues in our 23B. No way could I sleep front to back. I typically sleep on my side.

Still learning here, I just realized the difference of the Jay Feather 7 and the wider Jay Feather. Does anyone know the listed size of the bunk in the 8 foot wide Feather? Is it 60 x 75 as mentioned earlier?

I'M 6'2" and if it wasn't for the fact I have to roll over the DW in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, this trailer would be perfect, because the beds are out of the living area.

This is the main reason we might be looking at a unit with a real walk-around bed, especially at 65 years old.

We have a x17z ( it's an 8' wide model) and no problem for DH & I. He is 6'4" and sleeps side to sides next to the window, so he does have to technically crawl over me to go to the bathroom, however, since I'm 5'5" and sleep with bent legs, he actually doesn't climb over me at all and has enough space to get out at the bottom of the bunk without waking me up.

Yup, that is the correct size for the full width Jay Feather bunks.
