We purchased the PUG's last year and it's been great. The first time we attached the shiny silver material to our bunk ends, an older lady walking by with her husband asked me why we had our trailer covered in tin foil. With a very straight face, I told her it was to keep the aliens from stealing my thoughts. LOL...I thought she was going to run away screaming, until my wife burst out laughing, giving away my joke. We had a good laugh with the other couple that night over a glass of wine. You won't be disappointed.

We just ordered a set from Popupgizmos which should arrive this week. Can't wait to try them out.

The reflective material is good on 5/W to cover the outside wall where the frig is to keep temp down in that compartment. Just cut to fit between vent openings.

The Popupgizmos' Solar Covers arrived as promised. We ordered the "Super High Wind" set. The pictures are the test fit in the driveway. We will be using these at the beach soon and will see how they work.

Remind me to wear my sunglasses when I look at the Jayco in the bright sun with these babies on!

Trying out the solar blankets at Myrtle Beach this week. It is going to be hotter than a two dollar pistol on court day for a few days. This should be the acid test. Let's see how they do!

Cabela's emergency blankets. We're on our second set in the last 10 years. Also work great to keep dirt and sap off the tenting.

The solar blankets passed the test with flying colors. The temperature was in the mid 90's + and the heat index was 110+ for several days but it stayed cool, (very cool to cold) in the 17Z. Our site at Pirateland, Mrytle Beach, SC did offer some afternoon shade but I think the solar blankets really helped. Jayco puting the 13,500 btu a/c on it helped too!

I guess if I wanted to really test them I would have removed them for a day just to be sure, but even I am not that stupid.

We got a set of these for our old camper right before we sold it. The PUG folks very graciously took them back and we got a set ordered for the X18D. We tried them out at the beach campground at Holland State Park and they made a marked difference. I wish I had opted for the super high wind option since they blew part way off in the middle of a storm.

We got ours at REI online to place on our 17c. What a difference!
