Staying hitched

I haven't picked up my tt yet. Can you drop the hitch end bed with your tv still hooked up? If not, has anyone tried a hitch extender?

The x23b has a hybrid fold out bed on both ends. I am wondering if the front bed would hit the tow vehicle if it was still attached to the trailer.

OK, my bad. I though this was a hitch component question (brain freeze on my part). Perhaps a hybrid owner will chime in.

Depends on the TV and WDH set-up, but I would say in many cases it would, especially with the larger bed.

I know on my brother in-law's '05' 23B I hit my head on his bed when I was installing his electric tongue jack last summer at the campground....., every time I tried to stand up when I was in front of the TT tongue !!

We have the 19H and we can have the front bed out and stay hooked up. We usually only do this if we are only stopping for the night and want to get a real early start without waking the neighbors.

Enjoy your trailer and welcome!

I have a friend who has a Starcraft hybrid and I know they have stayed hitched with the front bed down before.

Come to think of it, don't believe I ever recall a hybrid with a front drop-down "king" bed.

Thanks all for your input. Sounds like it will be close. I guess I'll find out when I get to that point.
