Our 2013 X20E is the baby brother to the X23B, most likely the table is identical.
We use our table outside. It frees up floor space inside, and the few times we've had to stay in due to rain we really don't need the table.
One thing we hated from day one with the table was the weird cantilever legs they use now. Not easy to collapse, not easy to carry outside. So I replaced them with the older style flat folding legs.
Then on one trip in our first summer the table got soaked in a rain storm when we weren't at the CG. Needless to say the press wood swelled up and ruined the table.
I had a guy I work with who's into woodworking make me a new table out of cedar. All I had to pay for was materials, about $50. Well worth it! It's about 1/3 as heavy as the original table, and it's stronger! All I did was sealed it and rain doesn't do a thing to it.
