Tent End Center Bar

Hello,

I have a Jayco 16xrb hybrid. Yesterday I accidentally cracked the end clip on the center bar support for one of the bed ends. And I am out on the road traveling for a few weeks so need to fix asap.
Having a difficult time finding a replacement. Anyone have an idea where I may find one? Pic attached of what I am looking for.
Thanks all.

You can try here, but it will have to be shipped. They are not connected to the factory.

If you are talking about the spring clip that inserts into the pole, you can get them many places. I’ve found them at my hardware store as well. But Chinazon, Zoro, Granger, etc. have them. Both single push, a double push.
BTW- I have a 2018 16XRB, and I’m prepping now for July 4th camping.

You can probably order it from any RV dealer, but I doubt they'd have it in stock. And you may have to buy the entire shepherd's pole.

Welcome aboard

I think the OP is talking about the plastic clip, that connects to the other pipe/loop. I suspect it will be hard to procure while on the road.

I would consider a diy repair. Look at a piece of pvc piping (3/4"???) or coupler probably. Cut it to shape, it can be a loose fitting to the loop. Melt a hole for a mounting screw into the pipe. Inside the pipe consider a wine cork, for the screw to bit into. I'm sure the cork will expand and hold. As long as the corks is close to the same size.

Good luck

Oh okay- The saddle. Yep I would consider a piece of Split 3/4” PVC pipe like you suggested screwed into a bottle cork, that would insert into the end.

Thank you all for ur help and responses.
I have it rigged up DIY style right now and it is holding. Working on getting a replacement shipped to a future campground we will be staying at. Crossing my fingers and holding my breath each day!!
Thanks again, this is a great forum.
