The outside bbq wall mount rail?
I have the 2017 x17z, which came with the outdoor bbq rail mount on the wall. Of course I do not have the BBQ, and so I would like to use that rail for a small table. Numerous www searches have yielded me no results except for a Camco rail set, that does not fit the existing rail. Does anyone know where to find the mating piece of this rail?? Or maybe someone has figured out a hack to attach something to this rail?

Buy the set and replace the existing rail.

It's not that big a waste @ 13 bucks for a new one. I bought one off of ebay years back but don't remember where.

The mate is usually an integral part of the grill, not an add on.

Grumpy jogged my memory.
I bought the piece that mounts on the trailer and mounted it on my deck. I could move my grill from the camper to the deck.
Turned out the grill didn't last as long as the mounting bracket!

thanks for all the ideas. I was able to find a plastic folding shelf (camco) on amazon for $35. It fits the rail, but can only hold 15lbs. But for now it will do. Also I think in all my searches if you look for Table mounts, that is the channel that seems to work.

If you have the grill bracket you can make your own shelf and store it under the mattress while traveling. This is not my trailer

I bought the same rail as in the Amazon link, just have to build the table now, lol. But I have been busy setting up for a Lithium battery swap, and monitoring, toying with the idea of an inverter too.

I tried finding just the grill mount awhile back, without success. Seemed I would have to buy the grill as well. I have the grill, and wall mount, but no grill mount. Anyone have a solution for that?

I found mine on eBay & you can also call the company that makes them, believe it’s in the USA.
I bet there’s 100s of them out there in the owner’s garage because the grill rusted away or they don’t use it anymore

For an outside table I attached a strip of hanger material to an eighth-inch thick ~18"x24" aluminum sheet that fits the rail on my 15XRB. The outside edge of the shelf is supported in the center by a telescoping aluminum post. It's very sturdy, handy, and quite easy to store.
