Just returned from 4 nights at Silver Strand SP in Coronado, CA. Had a beach front spot. So close to the border you can see Mexico in the distance. It was cccccold and windy until yesterday when it warmed up. I camped with a large group and about 8 RV's.
My sister has a class C rig so she pulled head-in and of course I backed in so we created a little courtyard with our rigs.
Lots of fun. The SP had power and water but no sewer hook up (although a dump station). I was proud to use conservative water practices and didn't fill my holding tanks until time to dump! Now I know how much water I can use during a 4 to 5 day trip.
Folks in my group were getting 20 TV channels on their rooftop antennae so I guess I am gonna have to get a flat screen TV too (trailer has the connections and antennae). For now though, I have purchased a Barker 22 gal. waste water tote so I can worry a little less about water usage/full tanks. I have a few dry camping trips coming up.
And, I am getting good at backing up. Hallelujah!
