I'm not sure what you have for an engine in your Tahoe, but just based on the towing capacity, I would definitely go lighter. I towed my 23b for a short time with a Ford Ranger that had a larger wheelbase, better gears and an overall larger towing capacity than what you are showing, and it was not great. And that was pretty much empty.

You would maybe be 'OK' if you are traveling short distances, but I wouldn't plan on taking any kind of a longer trip. Plus it will wear down your vehicle pretty quickly.
